Tawia
This project represents my first character project at the beginning of my journey as a 3D Artist, created during my Master at BigRock School.
The character is a female warrior, developed starting from an existing concept, which I used as a design reference to focus on learning and strengthening my full character production pipeline.

Workflow Breakdown
-
Sculpting: The high-poly sculpt was created in ZBrush, focusing on anatomy, proportions, and surface details.
-
Retopology & UVs: Retopology and UV mapping were done in Maya, optimizing the model for clean topology and proper texturing.
-
Texturing: Textures were created in Substance Painter, working on materials, color variation, and surface wear to give the character a believable and cohesive look.
-
Lighting & Rendering: The final scene setup, including lighting and cameras, was done in Maya. Then I did the final renders using Arnold.
-
Post-Production: Final renders were slightly edited in Photoshop for color correction and presentation polish.
The complete project has been published as an entry on The Rookies platform. For more details and the full breakdown, you can check the project here.
